Greenwing had this condition, which we feel may have been a contributing factor in him being kicked out of the nest and is apparently quite common in young injured rooklings. We were treating him for it when he died, but we feel he must have died of something else like pneumonia judging by his symptoms. If you come across a bird with bad legs these are some good starting points to treating it from Ari, Jadyns mother, who has treated lots of birds which have had this. http://www.parrotparrot.com/splay/ (great site has pics!!!)
