About Me
Small time bird rescue and rehab. Have a flock of eight disabled corvids who live here, four crows and four rooks, all unique characters. There is also one rookling in residence with the rooks. She will probably be released next Autumn as she has damaged tail feathers and I prefer my releases to be in good feather condition before they fly free. However she is moulting at present so that decision might change! |

About Me
It all started with Esma She stayed with me till she took her freedom. So she was with me from March till the End of June. But even that short time she taught me so much and affected my life so deeply. Life is never really the same without a Corvid in it. Mostly now I feel a relative of the Bird and have found an even deeper respect for them all. Now again I'm privileged to share life with Edgar Edgar arrived on the 25th September. Its now 10th of October and already he has made a huge impact. I have have had a huge respect and connection to the World of Wildlife and all Furry feathered etc Kingdom. |

About Me
Well, what can I say? Rooks are my favourite birds, and I have shared my life with several for the last nine years. Currently, I have four permanent residents, plus three carrion crows and one jackdaw. Spring is here and I'm currently looking forward to the usual intake of adorable nestlings/fledglings. Happily, I have a new aviary this year (nicknamed Rookingham Palace) just for the purpose of raising youngsters for release. BigBird and Oscar (pictured) got a bit grouchy with having the young ones in with them last year. Almost forgot to say, I am a long-term member (and moderator) of the Yahoo Crow Group forum, which can be found at http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/crows/. ; There you will find yourself in the company of corvid lovers from around the world! About Me
Tara and Marley Crow live in North Norfolk. Marley is a '08 fledged Carrion Crow . Marley cannot be returned to the wild as she imprinted in the person who intialy recued her. Release was attempted but Marley was n making a nuisance of herself by demanding food from frightened customers in a pub beer garden. Marley was taken to www.wingandaprayerhaven.org.uk After meeting in October Marley came to live with Tara as a house crow in Dec 08. Tara thinks Marley is a) beautiful b) the best alarm clock ever. Marley's gender was established by DNA test. Sharing your home with a corvid isa big commitment but well worth any scarifices. Marley is exceptionally camera shy, althought I'd lover to have photographs of her I don't want to stress Marley out. |
