About Me

I already live with my husband, 2 sons, 3 westies, 1 collie, a ginger moggie, a blind hedgehog and 20 ponies!

I breed shetland ponies for riding, driving and showing.

I am a qualified flower remedy and crystal therapy practioner and a Reiki master and have just compleeted my level I ~Reiki teaching. I mostly treat animals but people too from time to time.

Often animals just seem to turn up when they need something and whenever possible they are released again as soon as possible.

On friday the 25th Sept I found a juvenile rook wandering about my field with an injured wing. When I caught him I found he was very thin, riddled with mites and the injury to his wing had been there for a good few days. I suspect he has been shot.

I have de-loused him, given him antibiotics and he has now taken up residence in the living room where he seems to be settling in very well. I will post pics of him in the next day or two.

do hope you're young rook is doing well, look forward to updates. As a horsey person, I'm sure you'll be amusedat Merlin's latest tricks, he hops on our cob's back, pecks him viciously on the bum, and struts up and down, apart from a slight flattening of the ears Everitt tolerates this behaviour remarkably well and even allows Merlin to stay in place as we walk from the stable to the field!
